Same old story
This blog is repetitive, I know this, and by now you must know it also.
Once again we are presented with evidence that our society is ok with violence by highly offended by human sexuality. The latest installment comes from the news that Grand Theft Auto San Andreas has unlock able sex scenes. Let me get this straight, the game is based on car jacking, beating and killing, and that was all ok. The violent content only brought an M rating. The M rating is nothing for a video game, you can move units under the M rating. But on the news that there is sexual content involved, it has now been rated an adult title, and that means many stores will no longer carry it. (Target for one)
Once again we're not terribly bothered if kids see shootings, but the missionary position is unacceptable.
Now you may be thinking neither is acceptable for younger eyes, and I would tend to agree..I'm just sayin'

Somedays, I think I'd like to trade out for Europe's values, where violence is rare (except for the random suicide bomber) but you can see boobs on Page 6 on the newspaper or after 11 p.m. on network television. Give me sex over violence any day. After all, sex can lead to love and violence never does.
